Forensic Evidence Box (FEB)
Using the technology developed and used in Global EMC’s Faraday cages and Forensic Evidence Rooms, the Forensic Evidence Box is a portable shielded enclosure designed with law enforcement in mind, delivering over 100 dB of shielding.
The FEB is engineered so that securing and protecting the mobile phone is simple, and repeatable every time. The FEB can only be opened and closed one way, and securely closes to ensure the shield is complete.
With unparalleled protection from electromagnetic signals, preventing RF signals getting in and out, the user is assured that any device placed inside the FEB is secure. It is protected from file transfer, wipe commands, Find My, and GPS tracking. The FEB also prevents device-2-device connections via Bluetooth, File Transfer/AirDrop, Wi-Fi, Low Earth Orbit, Cellular / GPRS, and GPS technologies. This completely isolates the device, securing and preserving evidence.
The Small Box Fixing A Big Problem
Global EMC have developed the latest generation in Evidence Shielding to tackle a clear and obvious need. Below are some of the highlights of the Forensic Evidence Box.
Portable
The secure carry case enables the FEB to be fully portable (more information below).
Enabling the end user to have their shielding solution in place and ready to go, lowering the risk of data loss or interference.
Unparalleled Protection
Protects from
– File Transfer
– Wipe Commands
– GPS Tracking
– Bluetooth
– Wi-Fi
– GPRS & all Generation
Cellular Technologies/all
Frequencies.
– Low Earth Orbit
– GPS Technology
Pioneering
The FEB relies on PASSIVE,
rather than active shielding.
The protection will never
go out of date and does not
require any power source.
Active shielding devices rely
on power sources to
block incoming signals in
certain frequency bands. As
technology moves to higher
frequencies, active
protection may no longer
cover the threat.
Tested
Each FEB is tested using
the principles of EN50147-
1 and certified. This
supports ISO 17025 for
Forensic Laboratories
requirements.
