Why use Global EMC's Consultants?
Constructing RF shielded enclosures is a difficult process, fraught with potential pitfalls and complex engineering conundrums. From the design phase, all the way through to final testing and commissioning, the potential for failure points is endless – even 1 bolt left untightened can cause a serious leak and compromise a shielded enclosure.
Global EMC are here to help. Our team have over 30 years of experience in designing, manufacturing, building and testing shielded enclosures. So whether it is advice on design, installation issues, or cutting edge science and engineering, we are confident we can help.
Electric and magnetic fields, in the form of RF signals, are some of the most penetrative forms of radiation in the modern world. It is crucial therefore, that adequate attention is paid to shielding early on to keep the external RF environment out and any emitted RF fields inside the shielded enclosure. In the design phase, if proper consideration is not given to the application of the room or how the construction and installation will proceed, fundamental flaws could arise adding huge costs and time delays on the project. The earlier these flaws are found, the more cost effective and efficient it is to solve them.
However, it is not always possible to spot these problems, or perhaps they have not yet manifested, until much later in the installation. Difficulties often arise during installation or even testing and commissioning, which, unless solved, can ruin the whole project.
